Dopo circa un anno dall’entrata in produzione della Flaminia 2500
GT, fu realizzata la versione aperta, denominata Convertibile, che
mantenne fedelmente i concetti stilistici introdotti con la GT. La
Convertibile entrò in produzione nel 1960 e seguì la stessa
evoluzione motoristica della sorella: nel 1962 la versione 3C, fu
equipaggiato con motore potenziato e alimentato con tre carburatori
doppio corpo. Dalla metà del 1963 la cilindrata aumentò
ulteriormente a 2775 cc. con la potenza portata a 146 Hp a 5400
giri/min. La produzione della Convertibile cessò alla fine del 1965,
inizio 1966 e furono in totale prodotti 847 esemplari.

About a year after the Flaminia 2500 GT was
put into production, an open version called “Convertibile” with all
the stylistic features of the GT was created. The production of the
new convertible started in 1960 and followed the engine evolution of
its “big sister”: in 1962, the 3C version sported an uprated engine
with triple twin-choke carburettors. Starting from mid 1963, the
engine capacity was increased to 2775 cc for a horsepower of 146 HP
at 5400 rpm. When the production of the Convertibile was
discontinued, between the end of 1965 and the beginning of 1966, a
total of 847 cars had been manufactured.
